Visualization
Visualizing your strategy – why? Because it creates understanding and common ground in your organization.
The common consensus that is created when a company uses visualization as foundation for communication is palpable. Because people instantaneously understand and relate to illustrations and visualizations.
With the use of visualization, your company can thus unite all levels of employees in your organization – from c-level management to.
Visualize your strategy
Many companies spend a lot of time in the engine room making their strategy tangible, precise and easy to understand. Still, there is a tendency for strategic work to turn into a lot of highfalutin phrases and fancy business lingo.
This is where strategy visualizations come into play. Researchers have shown that the easier we humans are at decoding content, the better we like to look at it.
This means that the faster the brain can process and analyze content and categorize and understand, the more beautiful we humans think that content is. That’s why strategy visualizations work so well!
Visualization is obvious to use in connection with strategy development, product development, leadership development, internal communication or other stakeholder communication. Visualization strengthens development and communication internally and externally in your company.
Why you should get strategic visualization
VISUALIZATION
At Levende Streg we visualize company messages and strategies so they resonate strongly with the intended target audience. In these matters it’s important not only to speak to the mind – but the heart.
Visualization is useful in relation to strategy development, product development, leadership, internal communication or other stakeholder communication. It can improve the development and communication internally and externally in your company.
VISUALIZATION CREATES “WE” IN THE ORGANISATION
When we visualize corporate messages (often abstract or complex concepts or challenges for businesses), it helps managers and employees to understand each other better and to speak the same corporate language. It is much easier to talk about something when you can see it.
A common consensus is created when a company uses visualization as a building block. It has a strong impact on communication and development both internally and externally. For instance strategy or development processes are much easier to talk about, when people have something visual to build on. This way your company can unite leaders and employees to join forces and create a “we” in the company.
VISUALIZATION CREATES RESULTS
The concept of visualization has several meanings. 1. It could mean creating an “internal” image of what you want to achieve. 2. It can mean creating a real physical image or expression of what you want to achieve.
The greatest athletes and high-performers use type 1 as a daily tool to achieve their goals. An example of could be to imagine that you are sitting in the car you have wanted for years. A car you can afford to buy when you’ve gotten the promotion you’re working to get.
Corporate executive management or board of directors often use visualizations to show managers and employees what the dream scenario looks like for the company – and how to get there.

Some people get the different concepts mixed up. They can’t tell the difference between an infographic and a data visualization. But here’s a trick. An infographic is often made up by various data visualizations.

Graphic recording (also called live drawing, live visualization, graphic listening) is all about capturing and illustrating ideas and concepts with drawings, color and text – live! Many times it’s also used as a visual summary.

In visual communication, people often talk about appeal, comprehension and retention.
In short, good communication is appealing and interesting to look at.
We all like to look at things that immediately and intuitively make sense to us and create an overview.
When communication is composed that way, it creates understanding. Because people find it much easier to like what they see, if they understand the communicated message. And that is exactly what a good visualization can do.
