Make the complex simple with visual communication
Levende Streg has created a speed drawing video for digital campaign. We created the video together with Prime Time Kommunikation.
The video is about sundhed.dk, which is the official digital access point to the Danish healthcare system.
A speed drawing video is a video where a hand draws “live” on a recording. It’s most often accompanied by a voice over explaining a topic.
A speed drawing film can also be called a whiteboard animation or a black board video.
These types of videos are usually sped up in time (so the drawing happens very quickly), and an explanatory speech follows the illustrations.
The video is broadly targeted, but is particularly targeted families with children and the elderly, who are the primary users of sundhed.dk. The video is created for the use in a digital campaign, just as it appears on OBS! at DR (Danish TV channel) and on info screens at Danish pharmacies.
Because the video is created for different purposes, it was designed so that it could be used in different parts and to different media. Video is so both in a short version, long version, the individual stories and a subtitled version without sound.
The visual style in the video should appeal to a wide audience. The characters and style of drawing is adapted to retain a professional and non-offensive expression. We also gave the drawings an extra thick outline to make them pop more.
The video tells three small stories about some of the features that are on sundhed.dk. For example you can see what various hospitals have noted on you, and you can see medications and prescriptions.
