Levende Streg had the pleasure of drawing LIVE for an inspiring two-day event focusing on the topic “obesity”.
At the event we created a 23 meter long graphic recording, where we captured the central themes, insights and discussions from the event in commenting (and satirical) illustrations.

Prior to the international event in Copenhagen, we reviewed detailed material, including reports and research articles, to ensure that the visual record would be accurate and knowledge-based, so that we could translate complex data and insights into simple but in-depth illustrations that strengthened the participants’ understanding and engagement throughout the event.

In autumn 2024, Copenhagen was the center of an important international conference held by Novo Nordisk on the subject of obesity. The event brought together participants from all over the world, creating an inspiring atmosphere of diverse perspectives and cultures.
To ensure a common understanding across languages and cultures, Novo Nordisk chose to include graphic recording as a central part of the communication at the event.
With two of our most skilled draftsmen and illustrators (Erik Petri og Maria Prohazka) on location over both days, we created a live report in real time – a visual overview of no less than 23 metres.
With the help of live drawing (graphic facilitation), the most important points and insights from presentations and workshops were translated into a dynamic and informative illustration, which conveyed the messages clearly and easily.
This allowed participants to take complex topics with them in a form that was both memorable and actionable.
As the participants came from many different countries and spoke a number of different languages, graphic recording and live drawing became crucial tools in creating a common understanding.
Instead of letting the language barrier be a challenge, the drawings became a universal way to convey knowledge and highlight important actions – all with a creative and precise visual expression.
Through many years of collaboration with Novo Nordisk, we have gained a deep understanding of their products, processes and special needs within health promotion.
This experience allowed us to draw with a nuanced insight into their specific vision and goals in the field of obesity.
Our team takes a close look at how we can best support our customers’ messages and professional discussions visually.
This made our live drawing a natural and effective part of the event’s communication.
To ensure that Novo Nordisk’s identity clearly shone through in our visual reports, we adapted all illustrations and graphic elements to the company’s Corporate Visual Identity (CVI).
Colors, styles and graphic lines were carefully selected and adapted so that the visual expression appeared professional and matched Novo Nordisk’s brand.
This not only created recognition, but also a clear visual connection that supported Novo Nordisk as sender and signaled a strong visual impression of their dedication to the subject of obesity.
